Since Azerbaijan attained the Presidency status of COP29, it has launched an unprecedented crackdown on civil society activists in the country. The government has imprisoned independent journalists and human rights defenders and has begun persecuting and intimidating environmental activists.
According to the most recent data, the number of political prisoners in Azerbaijan exceeds 303 individuals. All independent media and dissidents have been silenced, only government disinformation exists.
Citizens have no access to reliable information, that has been a strategy of the government for years.
This has resulted in an enormous information vacuum concerning environmental and human rights issues in Azerbaijan.
This is the space to introduce the Services section. Briefly describe the types of services offered and highlight any special benefits or features.
